BPAY
You can pay using BPAY via your bank’s app or online banking.
DEFT.com.au
You will need your DEFT reference number from your levy notice.
You can either:
Set up one-off or recurring payments from your bank account, debit or credit card
Set up a direct debit arrangement for your biller to debit payments when they are due*
*A ‘Biller Initiated Direct Debit’ automatically adjusts when changes are made to your levy payments.

NON DIGITAL PAYMENT OPTIONS
BPAY via phone banking
You can pay using your bank’s self-service phone banking using your bank account or credit card. To pay, call your bank and select the self-service phone banking option. You will need your biller code and reference number.
Australia Post
Pay in-store at Australia Post via Eftpos or cheque.
You’ll need a barcode generated by your biller. This can be found on your levy notice.
CHANGES TO DEFT
Macquarie Bank is updating its DEFT payment system to prioritise digital transactions. In March 2024, the DEFT Phone Line will end—however if this has been your preferred payment method, you can use your own bank’s phone service instead.
By November 2024, mailed cheque payments will no longer be accepted by DEFT. For full details on these changes download Macquarie Bank’s DEFT Digital Payments Guide
